Enhancing access, quality, and equity in mental health care for children and adolescents
With a vision for improving the lives of children and youth and helping catalyze sector-wide transformations in how child and adolescent mental health care is delivered, the Global Health Initiative (GHI) includes the nationwide Child and Adolescent Mental Health Initiative (CAMHI) in Greece, a new global center in partnership with a leading US institution, a new center at Columbia University championing the promising approach of precision psychiatry, and widening access to an evidence-backed therapy for children in the US who have been victims of abuse. As part of SNF Nostos 2023 and under the banner of SNF – Release Athens, SNF committed additional grant support to US and Greek nonprofits which work to promote mental health—in many cases harnessing the power of music and the arts.
